Martindale CP501 plug socket tester is currently the most popular on the market. It offers a quick and easy, reliable way to check that 13 amp sockets are correctly wired, indicated by three bright, long life LED's. Wiring faults are indicated by one or more of the LED's failing to illuminate. The device induces less than 5mA of earth leakage, well below RCD trip thresholds. Note: Like all other common standard socket testers the Martindale CP501 will not detect common earth and neutral or earth neutral reversal.
